Kim Bartels
Vice President of Statistical Analysis

​Kim graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa.  She went on to earn a Master of Marketing Research degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, again with high honors. Kim joined Jefferson Davis Associates in 2001 and offers nearly 20 years’ experience in marketing research.

As Vice President of Statistical Analysis for Jefferson Davis Associates, Kim oversees the use of multivariate statistical analyses in order to draw conclusions and insights that address clients’ business needs by using a variety of methods, including:
  • Regression-based models
  • Factor analysis
  • Cluster analysis/segmentation techniques
  • MDS
  • Discriminant analysis
  • CHAID
  • Conjoint
  • Various positioning techniques, including developing and implementing a priority technique
 
Kim also has extensive experience:
  • Reviewing quantitative questionnaires to ensure a high and consistent standard of quality and that all questionnaires can utilize appropriate statistical techniques
  • Managing and directing the market research process including coordinating the work between groups within the company, supervising and training field personnel, and presenting results to the client
  • Developing questionnaires and moderator guides, sample design, conducting in-depth interviews, and report and presentation development
